Last year I noticed some really fun Napoleon Dynamite cards at Target, but when I saw the price, I thought I could try to make my own. Most of the photos are clipart I found free on the Internet, although the Chap-Stick pictures are from a Walgreen's ad. The Napoleon photo and "DYNAMITE" on the card to the right was from an ad in the DVD case. I did use CTMH stamp set "Alfresco" to make the stripes in the background and the "Atomic Caps" set to spell out "GOSH!" I tried very hard to duplicate Napoleon's handwriting on notebook paper since I could not find a good font on the Internet-- and BOY did I try!! The sentiments are phrases Napoleon actually says in the film, of course.
I'm sure she was just trying to flatter me, but the niece I sent one of these cards to said she didn't even know it was homemade. YEAH!

Love em! I think homemade cards are great! I'm also a big fan of Nap. Dyn..... he's got sweet skills. :)
I LOVE these. I am impressed with how innovative you were in obtaining each element!! They look great and every bit of it looks so truly Napoleon. You've got some pretty SWEET card-making SKILLZ girl:)
